ICA warns that failing the requirements can delay or lead to the rejection of the visa application.
Who submits it
Applications go online through the ICA e-Service — by a local contact (a Singapore citizen or Permanent Resident aged at least 21, with Singpass), an authorised visa agent or a strategic partner. Without a local contact you apply through an authorised visa agent appointed by the missions, or at the nearest Singapore Overseas Mission. ICA does not take visa applications at its immigration counters. Processing usually takes three working days.
Applying at an embassy
- Brussels: Form 14A and “2 colour photographs, passport-size, with white background”. You do not need to buy a flight ticket before applying.
- Washington: one recent passport-size colour photo (last three months), white background, matt or semi-matt, full face without headgear; fee US$23.00, non-refundable.
Permanent Residence and citizenship
For PR and citizenship applications the photo is also 400 x 514 px, colour, recent, on a plain white background, full face without headgear (religious or racial headgear allowed if it hides no facial features). The upload accepts JPG, JPEG, HEIC, HEIF or PNG files of up to 8 MB.
