- The format is square — 4 × 4 cm — not the 35 × 45 mm of most Schengen and ICAO lists, and the photograph is colour with the head and upper bust.
- The number of photos differs between embassy pages (2 for temporary/permanent visas and 1 for temporary visas in Vienna; 2 for a tourist visa on the other list), and photo-booth pictures are accepted.
