Brazil-specific things to know
- Two ways of writing the same size: the e-visa guide gives 3.5 × 4.5 cm (413 × 531 px), consulates write 2 × 2 inches. Use the one of the channel you apply through.
- The e-visa guide is explicit about ears: they must be unobstructed, and there must be no smile and no teeth showing.
- Do not cut your photo out of the passport bio page, and keep the head and chin uncropped.
- Canberra lists a photo issued within the past 12 months, much looser than the usual 6; a fresh photo avoids any doubt.
- The e-visa is for US, Canadian and Australian citizens: no visit to a consulate, valid up to 5 years with multiple entries, stays of up to 90 days, fee US$80.90 paid by card in the platform.
