- The number of photos differs too: one at Honolulu (non-immigrant) and Paris, two at Warsaw (tourist), four at Honolulu for the 13(a) immigrant visa. Take one extra print.
- Two posts add a clothing rule: no sleeveless attire (Honolulu, Warsaw). The photo is taken within six months of the application.

- Same consulate, 13(a) non-quota immigrant visa (spouse or unmarried child under 21 of a Philippine citizen): «Four (4) identical colored photos, 2″ x 2», taken within the last six months, with a clear front view and white background; the same attire and quality rules.
- Philippine Embassy in Warsaw, tourist visa: «Two (2) colored passport-size (35mm x 45mm) photo taken within six months before the date of application, showing a clear front view of the applicant's face, with a white background. - Same embassy, online application: all applications except the seafarer visa are completed on the Online Visa Application System at visa.gov.ph — «Avoid using a big file photograph. The photograph must be of white background.»
- Philippine Embassy in Paris, 9(a) temporary visitor’s visa: application at visa.gov.ph, a passport valid six months after departure, a copy of the data page, «One (1) passport-size photo (size 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) with white background», a copy of a valid ID, proof of round-trip reservation (do not book the ticket yet) and travel insurance.
