What these millimetres work out to

- A shadow on the face or on the wall. Step 1–2 m away from the wall and shoot facing a window.
- Glare on the lenses. Take the glasses off or turn away from the light source and shoot again.
- A smile, raised brows or a half-open mouth. Cropping keeps the face it was given.
- Too few pixels. If the original is smaller than 354 × 472 px, enlarging it only blurs the face.

Where these numbers come from

- The my.gov.uz driver-licence service says the applicant submits the request through the portal.
- During application formation, the user consents to using the image from the ID card or biometric passport.
- If the user refuses reuse of that image, they visit a public service centre or territorial road-safety registration/exam unit.
- The visit is for taking a new photo for the driving licence.
- The source confirms an authority-managed image route rather than an applicant-supplied print-photo workflow.
