Uzbekistan-specific things to know
- The portal runs an ICAO check on the uploaded face image and reports «Uploaded images are not comply with ICAO standards» — more demanding than a plain size check.
- The file must be a .jpg under 1 MB (1024 KB); the information line says «1 Mb» and the error message «1024 KB» — a file under 1 MB satisfies both.
- The e-visa wants a face photo and a separate copy of the passport data page; the embassy route wants two printed 35 × 45 mm colour photos.

- Official e-visa portal of Uzbekistan, information line for the photo: the photo must have a size of 35x45 mm with a resolution of 300 dpi; the image dimensions should not exceed 1 Mb; the photo must meet the standards (ICAO). Error message: the required image should be jpg format and the file size should be less than 1024 KB; another message says the image format is wrong (jpg, jpeg).
- Same portal, terms of use and the check: the uploaded face image must comply with the recommendations of the International Civil Aviation Organization's DOC9303; when it does not, the portal reports «Uploaded images are not comply with ICAO standards» («Photo is not comply with ICAO standards»); the application code treats a file of more than 1 MB or an extension other than «jpg» as an error.
- Same portal, the application steps: country; dates; personal data (entered in English according to the data of the valid travel document); «Photo and passport» — the applicant uploads a facial photo and a copy of the travel document's main data page (the passport image is also a jpg); activation by email; payment of the consular fee through international payment systems.
