For a Serbian temporary residence permit — the approval or the extension of temporary residency — the Ministry of Interior's lists name «Two photos (35x45mm, color, full face)» under every ground: employment (a volunteer, an accredited foreign journalist, an expert engaged in project implementation, the creation of an audiovisual work), schooling and studies, scientific research and other scientific-educational activities, family reunification (marriage or common-law marriage to a citizen or to a foreign national, kinship, a foreign national granted asylum) and the miscellaneous grounds (independent temporary residency, a religious service, medical treatment, care, real-estate ownership, «Startup», investor, talent, Serbian origin), with «a completely filled in application form», «a valid personal document», «proof of paid prescribed administrative fee» and, for most grounds, «a landlord's statement of his/her agreement to a foreign national's registered residential address». The single permit to reside and work, applied for exclusively on the Foreign Nationals' Portal, lists «A foreign citizen's photo» without a number or size. The application is submitted to the Police Directorate for the City of Belgrade (Directorate for Foreign Nationals) or a regional police directorate, or electronically on the Portal — from abroad too when no D visa is required — and the personal document must be valid for at least three more months than the period requested.
