Why these photos get rejected — and how to fix each one
Poland-specific things to know
- Poland asks for the face from the top of the head to the upper shoulders at 70–80 % of the height and for the eye line parallel to the upper edge, and it names the pupils as the part that must be clearly visible.
- From 27 April 2026 an online application takes a JPG of at least 684 × 883 pixels and at most 2.5 MB in 35:45 proportions, while a paper application takes printed photographs — four for some permits granted to a foreigner abroad.
- A religious head covering is accepted only with a statement confirming membership of the religious community and with the face fully visible.
