Serbia-specific things to know
- Serbia has no work permit by itself — employment is covered by the single permit to reside and work, filed online, and the work-permit photo is the photo of that application.
- The single-permit lists say only «a foreign citizen's photo» and the file size in megabytes is stated inside the documentation app, while the printed «35x45mm, color, full face» belongs to the lists of the other grounds of temporary residence.
- After approval the foreigner visits the authority's premises, where biometric data are taken and the biometric card is made, as the portal's eDelivery message says.

What the source confirms
- Ministry of Interior of Serbia, single permit to reside and work: the application is made through the single Foreign Nationals' Portal; the documents are prescribed in the Rulebook on Single Permit Issuance for Foreign National's Temporary Residence and Work (Official Gazette No. 6/2024 of 26 January 2024); the portal defines for each ground of residence what is to be enclosed; proofs are enclosed in an electronic or digital form in the place marked in the documentation app, where the name of the document, the document form and the maximum size in megabytes are set out.
- Same page, documentation for the single permit on the ground of an employment contract (or another contract exercising workplace rights): a valid personal document; a foreign citizen's photo; a landlord's statement of agreement to the registered residential address or a tenancy agreement; a draft employment contract or another contract; an excerpt from the Rulebook on the Systematization and Organisation of Workplaces, or an employer's statement with a job title and description, qualification level and type, if the employer employs fewer than 10 employees; a diploma or other public document proving the qualification level and type; the employer's excerpt on registration in Serbia. The «foreign citizen's photo» also stands in the lists for self-employment, assigned or delegated persons, intra-corporate transfer, independent professional, and professional training and development.
