UAE-specific things to know
- The size is written «4/6» (or «6/4») with no unit in the ICP guide, while ICP's ICAO leaflet speaks of an image width of 35–40 mm — no printed size is stated for the file you upload, so follow the line of your visa type.
- The photo must be in colour with a white background; the passport must be valid for more than 6 months, and the entry permit itself expires 60 days after issuance if you do not enter.
- Visas are applied for through the smart application, the ICP website or authorized typing and tourism offices, and for a tourism-establishment or airline permit the applicant is the establishment or the carrier — the photo line is the same for all of them.

- ICP Services Guide 2024, «Issuing an entry permit to visit for tourism» (by an establishment operating in the tourism field): documents — a recent personal photo with a white background measuring 4/6; a copy of the passport; a financial guarantee document; a health insurance document; a statement of the tourist programme. Terms: a passport valid for more than 6 months; a ticket to continue the trip or leave the country; valid health insurance within the country; approval of the competent authorities of entry.
- Same guide, validity and stay: the entry visa is valid for 60 days from the date of issuance and the visitor must enter before that; the entry permit is valid for 30 or 60 days from the date of entry, may be extended once or several times up to 120 days, and by decision of the Director General up to 180 days; companions under 18 are exempt from the financial guarantee; the service is completed 48 hours after the requirements are fulfilled.
