The Pakistan visa photograph is set by the Pakistan Online Visa System, run by the Ministry of Interior with NADRA. The guide asks for a photo 45 mm high by 35 mm wide, taken against a plain white background, not more than 6 months old, a close-up of the head and the top of the shoulders so that the face takes up 70–80 % of the photograph, in sharp focus and colour-neutral, and uploaded as a file of up to 350 KB (the general upload page allows JPEG, JPG, PNG and PDF).
You look directly at the camera with a neutral expression and the mouth closed, eyes open and clearly visible, no hair across the eyes, both edges of the face shown, uniform lighting without shadows, flash reflections or red eye — and no glasses: «the photograph must show your eyes clearly with no glasses on». Head coverings are permitted if the face is clearly shown from the bottom of the chin to the top of the forehead and both edges of the face.
